Let's Make Something Weird is a local co-op game created by the Mismatched Games team for the Playcrafting Play Anywhere Game Jam Presented by Google Stadia. This game needs two people to play, one of which controls a mad scientist, and the other controls the monster they've created.

I built the body of the Monster out of a collage of photos to achieve a true Frankenstein's Monster look- he is made of nothing but borrowed parts. Progression through the game's levels will reveal new enemies, beginning with an angry mob of men, and ending with mobs of robots, demons, and angels added to the mix. As the enemies get weirder, so does the Monster, because the Scientist can pick up the parts of slain monsters and attach them to her creation as a power-up.

In my original sketch of the monster, I notated the collage elements, and constructed them to all match up similarly in size and shape so the change in parts wouldn't be too jarring for the player.

Eventually the Monster starts to look like a mash-up of all the various foes you have fought, yielding some weird and wild combinations!

The goal is to last as long as you can to score a high number on the timer, keep enemies out, and keep the HP of both players from dropping to zero.
If you fail, your little science experiment is over!
