Roscoe Rappaport is a 2D animator, motion designer, and illustrator with a passion for visual storytelling, and making art to educate and entertain. They received their BFA in 2D Animation from Pratt Institute in 2020, and their sophomore year animated documentary titled OUT has been featured in screenings at ASIFA East, FlameCon, NewFest, the QuickDraw Animation Society, and Queer City Cinema.
Roscoe's professional career began with work on animated shorts and illustrations for #HappyPeriod and The Superhero Project. They then became the artist and animator for Mismatched Games, a team of four that created games for the Code Coven Summer Program, and the Playcrafting Play Anywhere Game Jam Presented by Google Stadia.
Recently, Roscoe worked for EVERFI and The Game Agency to create short-form animated lotties for 35 online courses ranging from financial literacy to Black history. They also led the motion graphics refresh for EVERFI's Preventing Harassment and Discrimination course, marking the first time the company has used in-house long form animation.
When they are not using their every waking moment to produce art, Roscoe enjoys baking sourdough bread, fixing old furniture, watching horror movies, and playing their ukulele.
